Campaigners gathered outside Primark and marched through Birmingham city centre as part of global protests against police brutality in Nigeria.
The large crowds gathered outside Primark near the entrance to the Bullring on Saturday lunchtime (October 17), waving placards demanding an end to police misconduct and reform in Nigeria.
They held placards saying ‘EndSARS’ which stands for Special Anti-Robbery Squad.
Another board read: “Those who plant injustice will harvest disaster and their reign of terror will come to an end.”
There have been accusations of Sars officers robbing, attacking and even killing people for years.
A global wave of protest started at the beginning of October with support gathering on social media Twitter, with various hashtags, including #EndSARS.
Popular Nigerian musicians Davido and Wizkid had also been bombarded with messages about the protests and have been tweeting their support for the protesters.
